China’s Youth Enjoys Anti-Corruption Game

“Incorruptible Fighter”, an online game in China, which allows players to eliminate corrupt official has become so increasingly popular amongst Chinese youths. The game was created by a local government in East China to draw attention towards the escalating problem of government corruption.

The online game allows the players to advance by torturing and killing corrupt officials, while supporting the upstanding and honest ones. The characters in the game are derived from famous figures in Chinese history. On the other hand, some are questioning the target audience of the game. Probably it’s the government officials who should be getting anti-corruption education rather than the local youngsters.
