Article Marketing Will Bring Quality Results To Your Blog
Let’s assume you just started up your own business or website. You are already aware the only way for the venture to be a success rather than fail is for you to promote it. You can do this if you have deep pockets by paying for advertising or get the same attention for free via article marketing.
The first thing you will need to do is research your article marketing subject. There are several excellent keyword tools available to help you decide which targeted phrases will bring you visitors but also you need to make sure there is little competition as well or you will not get very high in the search results. Your keywords need to be relevant to your blog and be getting plenty of search queries but not too many results. Read a more detailed post about keyword tools for a better explanation.
Once you have picked out your targeted phrases you will need to use them in your articles title, a few times at least in the first paragraph, a couple of times in the body and once again within the closing sentence for optimum results.
Always write for the reader when article marketing. In other words write it for people, not the search engines. We can help our articles climb the search engine rankings but they won’t do us any good if people read the first sentence, decide it’s rubbish and hit the back button. Keep your articles easy to read and to the point. Use numbers or bullets as they can better get a point across.
When you are done, read it several times and make sure it is written correctly and that you have your keyword phrases in the right places. Once you have done that, read it again, a few times. If it doesn’t quite read correctly, rewrite the part and don’t forget, while you may be an expert on the topic, the reader is not.
Your final paragraph in your article is the most important {part-section} but many who do article marketing miss the point completely. Your article gives the reader info that they have hunted out at the search engines but now you want them to want yet more info by clicking thru your own site. Be loud and clear about the benefits of clicking and visiting your site. Simply asking for the click doesn’t cut it any more. Tell them exactly why they should and what they will find: a follow up article that goes into more detail, important list of links they will find useful etc.
Finally be particular where you send your articles and if you can rewrite it each time you submit it to a directory or blog feeder. I would give the original version to ezinearticles.com and hang fire until they accept it before submitting it to any of the other article directories. This is because ezinearticles are the best so get you most visitors but they refuse articles that have already been published on other sites.
Article marketing is still the number one method of promoting a site without spending ridiculous amounts on advertising. Just one article each day will result in a hundred or so articles on perhaps thousands of blogs in just three months time all with links pointing to your business.
When you see the great results and want to go to another level with your article marketing take a look at submitting your articles to Article Marketing Automation. This takes a little more work but the benefits last a lot longer.
